Utrecht Day of Philosophy 2021

Sold out (waiting list)
Utrechtse Nacht van de Filosofie
A surprising programme with lectures, conversations and a philosophical city tour. Join us and expand your view on the world around you.

The Utrecht Day of Philosophy challenges you to question yourself, others and the world in which you wander. Is Netflix slowly transforming us into passive nihilists? And does an objective truth truly exist? The 2021 edition is a surprise edition.

How does it work?
Together with a small group of people you will visit three programmes. The programme remains a surprise, but what you do know is that we’ve programmed masterful philosophers. You will leave the building a great deal wiser, that’s for sure.

Every tour is different, but we can already give away a sneak peek: you will not remain fixed to your chair. Botanical philosopher Norbert Peeters (Leiden University) has created a podcast on the philosophy of strolling. Join him on a tour through the heart of Utrecht and experience the urban wilderness.
