Nieves Delgado researches how racial thinking and racialization practices have worked their ways into the history of science and contemporary biomedical research. She focusses on the history and philosophy of life sciences and physical anthropology, specifically the fields of epigenetics, microbiome research and biometric technologies, like facial recognition.

Besides that, she teaches courses on the history and philosophy of science, and on integrity and values in science.
