Wynne studeerde aan het University College in Londen en promoveerde in 1986 aan de Universiteit van Edinburgh. Naast zijn functie in Florida is hij verbonden aan de Kyung Hee Universiteit in Zuid-Korea en hoofdredacteur van Behavioural Processes. Hij is vooral geïnteresseerd in het gedrag van dieren. In de afgelopen jaren heeft hij zich gespecialiseerd in het gedrag van honden en andere hondachtigen. Over deze onderwerpen schreef hij verschillende boeken, waaronder Do Animals Think (2004, vertaald als Denken dieren na) en Animal Cognition (2001).

Clive Wynne became professor of Psychology at the University of Florida in 2002 and serves also as research director at Wolf Park, an organization that dedicates itself to education and behavioral research ON wolves in Battle Ground, Indiana. Wynne studied at University College in London and gained his PhD in 1986 at the University of Edinburgh. Besides his professorship in Florida, he is visiting scholar at the Kyung Hee University in South Korea and editor in chief of Behavioural Processes. His interests lie on the behavior of animals. In the past years he has specialized in the behavior of dogs and other canines. He has published several books, including Do Animals Think (2004) and Animal Cognition (2001).
